Every ride together should be comfortable.

Every time my boyfriend picked me up for a date on his e-bike, I was excited. Because honestly, there's nothing cuter than biking together. But my legs were dying during the ride, and at some point I just didn't want to ride together anymore. I decided something had to change, and set out to find a solution to my own discomfort.

I saw bikes with cheap foam taped to the crossbar with tie-wraps. Smart idea, I thought. But why not make a real, quality cushion instead? That's how VELO CUSH was born.

To get it off the ground, I even sold my very expensive road bike, the one I'd ridden triathlons on and won on. A hard decision, but the money became the first batch of VELO CUSH cushions. What I didn't expect: a year later, I was announcing my first big collaboration, VELO CUSH x Levi's.
